REPLACEMENT / ADD-ON COMPONENT

Add a primary-cover contact point to compatible 2016–2026 Harley-Davidson Touring motorcycles. The MDG Primary Guard mounts beneath the derby cover using two factory primary-cover mounting locations and helps reduce primary-cover damage during controlled, low-speed training drops.

IMPORTANT: This is not a standalone crash guard. Use only with properly installed MDG Front and Rear Drop Guards.

Already purchasing the complete Harley Drop Guard Kit? A Primary Guard is already included for applicable 2016–2026 models. Do not add this product separately.

• Compatible 2016–2026 Harley-Davidson Touring models
• Road King, Road Glide, Street Glide and compatible Special, Limited, ST, Electra Glide and CVO models
• Stock OEM ride height only
• Not required for pre-2016 Touring models
• Does not fit Softail, Heritage, Dyna, Sportster, Indian or other motorcycle brands
• Not compatible with lowered motorcycles

The primary guard is intended to be used with the front and rear motorcycle drop guards only.

The Primary Guard is a patented product made of solid polished 316L stainless steel, and protects the $400 primary cover of Harley Touring Models when the motorcycle tips on the left side. 

The primary guard is available in Polished Stainless and Black Powder Coat Gloss, is low profile and follows the contour of the Harley Primary Cover.

This primary guard will not fit models other than 2016-2026 Touring Models. It will NOT fit the Heritage Models or Sportster models. 

Stainless steels screws are for picture purpose only.
